Television Exposure
On October 14th, an ABC Television network special, Frosted Pink, aired with a purpose - to educate and empower millions about the key issues surrounding cancers affecting women. The special combined an all-star cast from the music and sports' arenas (Kristi Yamaguchi, Katarina Witt, Nancy Kerrigan, Joss Stone and Carrie Underwood to name a few) and celebrity hosts from ABC's prime-time lineup including Patrick Dempsey, Felicity Huffman, James Denton, America Ferrera and Vanessa Williams to pack an A-list punch, but the most significant message came from real survivors around the nation. This is where Liveable Lifestyles showed its face. In the Atlanta segment of the show, the choir Shades of Pink (made up of all breast cancer survivors) was featured through poignant interviews filmed in a Liveable Lifestyles residence at the Horizon high-rise. The producers needed "a comfortable, pleasant space" in which to film and we were thrilled to provide them with just that. www.frostedpink.org

Now, one local designer is offering to make that lifestyle seem even easier."

The Unveiling
More than 350 eager party guests witnessed the unveiling of Liveable Lifestyles, the innovative design concept by Jim Weinberg, at the Horizon at Wildwood high-rise building. During the event sponsored by Atlanta Magazine, guests intermingled (and networked, we're sure) on the club level of the luxurious building and toured the eight fully furnished residences by Weinberg. Judging by the party chatter and post-event feedback, it was clear that the concept was a success. While most guests favored the penthouse unit, "International Elegance," and the Asian-inspired 15th floor unit, "The Entertainer," there truly was a residence that appealed to every partygoer. And as if the design and decor weren't over-the-top already, Tony Brewer & Company complimented the condos with custom designed vignettes on each floor and outside each unit.
